Citygroups are communities in which we help one another apply the transforming power of the gospel to everyday life.

Citygroups are the main way to connect to the life of Citylight. These groups are intentionally designed to provide a more close knit community than our Sunday gatherings. Citygroups give space to see how the gospel applies to all of life – our identity, our relationships, and our purpose. No matter what life stage you are in, join us on our journey of what it means to follow Jesus and live on his mission!

Common Questions

In Romans 15:7, the Apostle Paul writes, “Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.” We join Citygroups because they’re communities where we get to practically welcome one another and live out what it means to follow Jesus.

Our Citygroups meet to study the Bible, pray, and grow in relationship, all with the goal of helping each other follow Jesus in everyday life. Often, our Citygroups will share a meal together.

Citygroups reflect the makeup of our larger church and are made up of people from all backgrounds and life-stages. Our hope is that your Citygroup will be a rich experience of the Body of Christ rather than an affinity group.

Citygroups are led by members of Citylight Church who are trained and supported by the Citylight pastors.
